Meet Our Leadership Team
Steve Henes – President
Steve is the owner of Diversified Employment Services. When he purchased the firm, he knew little about the industry. He was introduced to the original owner by accident. After a few conversations and looking at the potential, Steve decided to leave Sun Microsystems after 10 years as the worldwide account manager to become the owner of Diversified Employment Services. In the 20 plus years he has owned the firm, Steve has worked with and helped hundreds of companies with their staffing requirements. Today, Diversified Employment Services has focused on becoming Metro Detroit’s premiere provider of contract to hire labor in manufacturing, light industrial, food service, logistics and sanitation industries.

Steve has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Michigan University and earned his CPC & CTS designation.
He has been very active with various charities over the last 15 years. In his spare time, Steve enjoys spending time with his family, at his cabin, biking and running.
Mike Sidor- Vice President
Mike is the Vice President of Diversified Employment Services, joining the company in January 2017. With over 12 years’ experience, his primary responsibility is to manage and grow the company through sales, marketing and management initiatives across our Contract and Direct Hire Divisions with the intent of expanding the companies footprint across Michigan and beyond.
Mike earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a minor in Marketing. Prior to joining d.Diversified, he worked for two nationally renowned staffing companies culminating in his role as a National Recruitment Manager. Mike firmly believes in providing top-notch customer service to clients and contractors alike through his dedication on their needs and focus on results.
Outside of work, Mike is married with two sons. He enjoys classic cars, woodworking, being outdoors, spending time at his cabin, collecting classic vinyl records, sports (Hockey, College Football and Golf), coaching his son’s sports teams and spending time with his family.
Beth Piotrowski – Corporate Resource Director
Beth joined the Diversified Employment Services team in 1997, after starting out working two days a week as an assistant to the corporate resource manager. In 2000, she took on the corporate resource director role and is now responsible for a department of two with roles of payroll, benefits, accounts receivable and payable.
Prior to joining us, Beth worked in retail merchandising for eight years, loving the customer interaction and support with customers.
Beth went to Ferris State University where she met her husband and has been married since 1983. She has three kids, two granddaughters and four dogs. In her free time, Beth loves working in her yard, decorating her house, playing with her grand kids and her dogs.
Luma Oraha- Branch Manager
Luma joined the team at Diversified Employment Services as a Branch Manager in 2022. With over 20 years of staffing/recruiting experience in the manufacturing field. She enjoys meeting new people and helping them pave their career path. Her dedication to clients and candidates has allowed her to build long-lasting relationships. In addition to her recruiting experience, she has also had the privilege of being a small business owner for 7 years managing 9 employees.
Outside of work, she has 2 amazing daughters along with 2 feisty Shih Tzu’s that keep her on her toes. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring different cultures and languages, as well as interior decorating.
