Meet Our Leadership

Stephen Henes, President

Steve is the owner of d. Diversified Services. When he purchased the firm, he knew little about the industry. He was introduced to the original owner by accident. After a few conversations and looking at the potential, Steve decided to leave Sun Microsystems after 10 years as the Worldwide Account Manager to become the owner of d. Diversified Services.  In the twenty years he has owned the firm, Steve has worked with and helped hundreds of companies with their staffing requirements. Today, d. Diversified Services has expanded its focus to include engineering, construction, office & professional, legal and manufacturing/light industrial.

Steve has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Michigan University and earned his CPC & CTS designation.

He is currently active with various charities and is on the board of The Judson Center and Children First in Royal Oak. In his spare time, Steve enjoys spending time with his family, biking and running.

Beth Piotrowski, Corporate Resource Director

Beth joined the d. Diversified Services team in 1997, after starting out working two days a week as an assistant to the corporate resource manager.  In 2000, she took on the corporate resource director role and is now responsible for a department of three with roles of payroll, benefits, accounts receivable and payable.

Prior to joining us, Beth worked in retail merchandising for eight years, loving the customer interaction and support with customers.

Beth went to Ferris State University where she met her husband and has been married since 1983.  She has three kids and four dogs. In her free time, Beth loves working in her yard, and playing with her dogs.


Mike Sidor, Executive Director

Mike joined d. Diversified Services in January 2017. He currently serves as the Executive Director. With over 7 years of experience in recruiting and staffing, he is responsible for overseeing our three recruitment divisions: light industrial & manufacturing division, engineering & technical division, and office & professional division.

Mike began his career as an educational recruiter until he decided he needed a change to satisfy his desire for helping people and making a bigger impact. His next step was in the staffing industry, working as an account manager. He quickly worked his way up to servicing clients across the country as a national recruitment manager. With top-notch customer service, a unique approach to recruiting, and strong leadership, Mike is an invaluable asset to our manufacturing and light industrial division.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys the outdoors, boating, sports and collecting vinyl records. He’s a family man and loves spending time with his son and wife Fun Fact about Mike: He aspires to open his own restaurant tailored to serve local craft food and beverages.
